Job description

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including design, installation, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with mechanical aptitude and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all HVAC equipment operates efficiently and effectively.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
  • Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units, heating systems, and ventilation equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals related to HVAC systems.
  • Perform equipment repairs and replacements as necessary to maintain system integrity.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the HVAC/R field.
  • Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems, heating units, and ventilation processes.
  • Mechanical skills with the ability to build and repair various types of equipment.
  • Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documents related to HVAC systems.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
