Position Overview:

The Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for various HVAC/R systems in commercial settings, while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Service and maintain a wide range of commercial HVAC/R systems.
  • Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot issues with HVAC/R systems.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, meters, and gauges to analyze system performance and identify root causes of problems.
  • Develop effective solutions to resolve technical issues and communicate findings and recommended solutions to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Perform approved repairs on commercial HVAC/R systems.
  • Completes necessary paperwork with company issued laptop/tablet.
  • Participates in an on-call rotation.
  • Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Service Technician, with a focus on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing HVAC/R systems.
  • Universal EPA certification.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Solid understanding of electrical circuits and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, gauges, and other equipment to assess system performance and diagnose issues.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
