Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration: Expected salary range of $33.92hr to $41.46hr, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Sr. Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration: Expected salary range of $39.01 to $47.75, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). 

Primary Purpose of Position

Performs a wide range of HVAC/Refrigeration services for Commercial customers and promotes the sale of all other services.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair complex HVAC and refrigeration systems, including advanced air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot intricate issues with HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform comprehensive maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, to determine the layout and installation requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including detailed service reports and inventory management.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Minimum Qualifications: Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration  

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair
  • All required State licensing
  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in team environments
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor others
  • Demonstrated excellent critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proven customer service skills
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license and have reliable personal transportation

Minimum Qualifications: Sr. Journeyman HVAC/Refrigeration 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair
  • State Journeyman HVAC license
  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants
  • Demonstrated advanced knowledge of HVAC refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in team environments
  • Effective communication skills
