Job description

The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial buildings. This role involves working independently and in small teams of 1-3 members, frequently traveling to local job sites. The technician ensures systems operate efficiently and comply with all relevant codes and regulations, while delivering excellent customer service. There are clear opportunities for career advancement into supervisory or senior technician roles.

Responsibilities

  • Install and service HVAC/R systems for residential and commercial properties
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heating and refrigeration equipment
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions and implement effective repairs
