Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HVAC Project Manager to lead and oversee complex heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) infrastructure projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, and ensure all work complies with construction regulations and safety standards. Your expertise will drive project success by delivering high-quality results on time and within scope, fostering strong client relationships, and maintaining a focus on construction excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Duties

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closing of HVAC construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget
  • Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to coordinate construction timelines effectively
  • Manage project budgets by tracking costs with HeavyBid or comparable cost management tools, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Oversee the review and interpretation of construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to guide project execution
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and project progress
  • Ensure compliance with all construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for document control, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders
  • Supervise construction site activities to ensure quality workmanship while managing teams in a construction management role
  • Monitor project schedules closely to identify potential delays early and implement corrective actions promptly
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify adherence to plans and safety protocols; manage construction regulatory compliance
  • Read blueprints accurately to coordinate installation sequences for HVAC systems within larger infrastructure projects
  • Manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors; oversee scope of work changes and contractual obligations
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, incident logs, and change orders

Experience

  • Proven experience managing large-scale HVAC or infrastructure projects within the commercial or civil construction sectors
  • Strong background in construction estimating, schedule coordination, cost management, and project leadership
