About AirTech HVAC
AirTech HVAC is a second generation, family-owned heating and air conditioning company proudly serving the San Gabriel Valley and surrounding areas since 1988. We specialize in residential HVAC with some light commercial work, and we're known for our commitment to craftsmanship, integrity and long-term careers.

Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on, real-world training to the next generation of Residential HVAC Install Technicians in our custom-built AirTech HVAC Training Center in Pasadena, CA. This part-time HVAC Instructor role is ideal for an experienced residential HVAC professional ready to transition out of the field and into a meaningful career developing and mentoring apprentices. Guide students through the fundamentals and advanced techniques of residential installation, equipping them with the technical skills, craftsmanship, and professionalism needed to succeed in the HVAC trade.

Job Duties:
  • Follow custom structured course curriculum, objectives, and evaluation mechanisms for the program
  • Enforce all local codes and OSHA safety regulations
  • Document apprentice performance, behavior and achievement
  • Communicate with Install Manager regarding apprentices’ progress
  • Evaluate and update curriculum relevancy on an ongoing basis
  • Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures
Hours/Schedule:
  • Part-time
  • Monday through Friday
  • Mornings (6:00 AM – 10:00 AM)
Requirements:
  • EPA Certified
  • Minimum of 7 years of direct HVAC field experience
  • Prior teaching experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
