Job description

HVAC Customer Service Representative (CSR)

$19–$24/Hour | Full-Time | Newport News, VA

Mechollage is a locally owned, veteran-owned HVAC company serving customers throughout the area since 2009. We're looking for a dependable HVAC Customer Service Representative (CSR) to be a key part of the customer experience from the very first conversation.

In this role, you'll help customers get the service they need by handling incoming calls, coordinating appointments, gathering important job information, and keeping communication organized between customers and the service team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy office environment, communicates well over the phone, and takes pride in making sure customers feel heard and taken care of.

What You'll Handle

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers calling about HVAC service and maintenance
  • Schedule and coordinate technician appointments based on customer needs and availability
  • Ask the right questions to understand service requests and collect accurate information
  • Enter customer and job details into company systems
  • Provide customers with information regarding appointments and services
  • Make outbound calls for appointment confirmations, follow-ups, and customer outreach
  • Maintain accurate customer accounts and service records
  • Support maintenance membership programs and related customer communications
  • Communicate appointment and customer information with technicians and other team members
  • Help keep daily office operations organized and running smoothly

What Makes You a Good Fit

  • 2+ years of customer service, call center, scheduling, reception, or office experience
  • HVAC, home services, or skilled-trades experience is a plus
  • Experience with ServiceTitan is helpful but not required
  • Confident and professional phone communication
  • Strong listening skills and attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple conversations and priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Organized, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team
  • Customer-first attitude with a genuine desire to help people
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay: $19–$24 hourly, depending on experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM

What we offer:

  • 50% company-paid medical coverage
  • 401(k) with 6% company match
  • Paid holidays
  • Paid vacation
  • Ongoing training and professional development
  • Opportunities to grow with an established local company

Why Mechollage?

At Mechollage, customer service isn't just about answering the phone-it's about creating confidence in the company before a technician ever arrives at the door.

You'll join a team where communication, reliability, and a positive attitude matter. If you're someone who can stay organized, handle a busy phone line, and make customers feel like they're in good hands, this could be a great fit.

Bring your customer service experience to a company where your work makes a difference every day. Apply today.
