Job description

HVAC Maintenance Technician

South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team for the PM shift. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests through the proper functioning of our heating and air conditioning systems. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates who do not necessarily have all the qualifications but have sufficient experience and talent.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, including cleaning and replacing filters, checking fluid levels, and lubricating parts
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC systems and make necessary repairs
- Install new HVAC systems and components as needed
- Maintain detailed monthly and annual records of inspections and all maintenance repairs   performed on HVAC systems
- Respond to guest reports of HVAC issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe and clean work area, following all safety protocols and regulations

- Responding to and completing guest requests in a timely and professional manner.

- Daily Maintenance projects

- Other maintenance duties as assigned


Requirements:

- HVAC Certified 

- Availability for PM Shift and flexibility (holidays & weekends if needed)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an HVAC Technician
- Comprehensive knowledge of manual and power tools for mechanical maintenance

- Strong communication and customer service skills
