Job Title: Outside Sales Representative

Position Details:

JM Hunter Group is looking to fill a position as an Outside Sales Representative with experience in building materials. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong customer service skills by maintaining existing and new customer relationships. Communication is a large part of the position, the candidate must posses excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong math and computer skills.

- Minimum 5+ years with proven track record in outside sales, preferably within building material distribution.

Job Duties: (Including but not limited to)

- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, lead generation, and networking.

- Sales: Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients.

- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to existing customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction.

- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s products and services. Advise customers on the range of products and services offered tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs. Conduct market research on competitor activities and trends in the industry.

- Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture existing relationships with vendors to ensure a smooth supply chain and service delivery. This includes regular follow-ups with clients and problem-solving skills.
