The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive leverages targeted geographic analysis, engages with Physician offices to influence physicians to route patients' specialty drug prescriptions to CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy for fulfillment. The Senior Pharmacy Sales Executive focuses on increasing orders to CenterWell Pharmacy, resulting in increased prescriptions and revenues.

You will report to the Market Director of Pharmacy Sales. You will spend time building relationships on front office to back office medical clinic sales calls within the territory and provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications.

Additional Job Description

  • Manage a sales territory that includes CenterWell, a Humana-owned brand offering Primary Care, Home Health, and Pharmacy services.
  • Build relationships with front and back-office staff by conducting sales calls within the territory.
  • Provide staff education and information on options for patient use of Specialty Pharmacy medications.
  • Become a knowledgeable resource regarding specialty pharmacy medications and Humana pharmacy benefits.

Required Qualifications

  • Professional experience working in a sales environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications, SharePoint, Teams and ability to resolve general technical issues within a remote environment.
  • Must be comfortable with being in the field 5 days/week within territory lines, and occasional overnight travel as needed.
  • Must live within the defined sales territory or willing to relocate at your own expense.
  • Attendance at offsite team meetings, which could require flights and overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Sales experience within a metrics-based environment and documented success of meeting/exceeding goals
  • Ability to analyze sales data & market trends to make effective business decisions.
  • Experience utilizing Salesforce or similar CRM tool.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Specialty Pharmacy or Healthcare experience preferred.

Workstyle: Remote work in the field

Location: You will be required to cover greater Sarasota, FL to Naples territory.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Travel: This role is in the field daily to meet about 8-10 office facilities daily and will also participate in 2-3 overnights a quarter.

  • This role is part of Humana's Fleet Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to take possession of a company fleet vehicle & have a valid state driver's license.
  • Your driving record will be evaluated as part of a third-party background check and certain types or combinations of infractions may affect your eligibility for this position.
Work at Home Requirements: To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees' ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The range below reflects a good faith estimate of total compensation for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. This compensation package includes both base pay and targeted commission pay. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location. Actual earnings will vary based on individual performance, with the base salary and commission structure aligned with company policies and applicable pay transparency requirements.
