Job description

The Variable Staff Pool (VSP) Retail Pharmacist dispenses medications and other pharmaceuticals. You will travel on-site and cover multiple pharmacy clinic locations in the South Palm Beach County and North Broward County area (Boca Raton, Delray Beach and Deerfield Beach). Additional shifts/locations available if open to traveling outside of these territories. You will provide coverage and assistance when needed as a Variable Staffing Pool (VSP) employee.

VSP Retail Pharmacist responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain all necessary records on prescriptions, patient charges and inventory.

  • You will talk with members and provide information on drugs and pharmaceuticals.

  • Exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments.

  • Work on assignments that involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or pharmacy data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy

  • 5 or more years of experience in pharmacy

  • Must have an active Pharmacist license with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Florida

  • Must be a Certified Immunizer

  • Must have active CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification

  • This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharm.D.

  • Bilingual fluent in Spanish/English

  • Experience working with EMR (Electronic Medical Records)

  • Work hours can fall between the hours of 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. EST (based on business need) Monday-Friday

Work Style: Onsite/patient facing: (CenterWell clinic) Multiple locations throughout South Palm Beach county, North Broward county and additional territories

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$115,200 - $158,400 per year
