Pritchard Companies is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to support our growing organization. This role provides a unique opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of Human Resources, including payroll, benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, employee support, HRIS management, and compliance.

What You'll Do Payroll Administration
  • Process and audit payroll through ADP Workforce Now
  • Review time and attendance records and resolve discrepancies
  • Coordinate payroll changes related to hires, promotions, transfers, compensation changes, and terminations
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly
  • Support payroll audits, reporting, quarter‑end, and year‑end activities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws and payroll regulations
Benefits Administration
  • Administer employee benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and retirement plans
  • Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
  • Serve as a resource for employees regarding benefit eligibility and coverage
  • Coordinate annual open enrollment activities and employee communications
  • Reconcile benefit invoices and maintain accurate records
  • Partner with benefit providers, brokers, and vendors
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • Manage full‑cycle recruiting for assigned positions
  • Post jobs through multiple recruiting channels
  • Screen applicants and coordinate interviews
  • Conduct reference checks and assist with offer preparation
  • Coordinate pre‑employment screenings and onboarding activities
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs
HRIS Administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records within ADP Workforce Now
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity
  • Generate HR, payroll, and workforce reports
  • Assist with HRIS enhancements, testing, and process improvements
  • Troubleshoot HRIS issues and provide employee and manager support
Human Resources Support
  • Maintain personnel files and HR documentation
  • Support leave administration, including FMLA, ADA, and other leave programs
  • Assist with employee relations issues and policy interpretation
  • Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience in payroll processing, benefits administration, recruiting, and HRIS administration
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of payroll regulations, employment laws, and HR best practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
  • SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, or related HR certification
  • Experience supporting multi‑state payroll and benefits administration
  • Experience in a manufacturing, dealership, transportation, or multi‑location environment
  • Advanced ADP Workforce Now experience
