These internships help participants apply classroom knowledge, develop professional competencies, and learn more about potential career paths in the human services field. The experience often involves working directly with clients, assisting with program development, and performing administrative tasks. Completing an internship is frequently a requirement for degrees in social work, counseling, or related fields.
