Job description

Join our Workforce Solutions team as an Employment and Human Services Associate and make a lasting difference by helping families achieve stability and self-sufficiency through the TANF Choices program. In this impactful role, you’ll work directly with participants to assess their needs, identify employment goals, and create customized Family Employment Plans that pave the way toward meaningful careers. You’ll provide hands-on career coaching—including job search support, resume development, and job readiness guidance—while addressing barriers through coordinated supportive services like transportation and child care. Partnering closely with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, workforce teams, and community organizations, you’ll ensure participants remain engaged, compliant, and on track to success. If you’re passionate about empowering others, thrive in a collaborative environment, and are driven to help families build brighter futures, this is your opportunity to create real, measurable impact.

Education

Bachelor’s degree OR at least six months of experience and transferrable skills may be substituted for each 15 hours of college credit up to two years OR four years of experience working at Workforce Solutions and a recommendation from current or most recent supervisor.
