Job description

Human Resources Coordinator

Program & Location: Hyannis
Education: Bachelor or Associate degree preferred, further education in the field of Human Resources is helpful
Pay Range: $60,000 - $70,000  (Education & experience dependent) 
Status: Full Time
Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday

About Us:

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Programs and services also assist survivors of abuse, violence, and families experiencing homelessness. High Point believes that everyone has inherent goodness, worth, and dignity. Our goal is to help individuals and families achieve personal change and improve their quality of life. 

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of HR tasks, including facilitating the onboarding processes for our new hires as well as full life cycle recruiting (candidate sourcing, screening and selection). In addition to the responsibilities listed, a focus area of this role will be managing the experience for new hires, internal transfers, graduates and interns.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Onboarding:

  • Welcome new staff into the company and conduct regular visits to their work areas. Give the new staff an office tour to familiarize them with the environment. Introduce team members and help the new employees understand the company hierarchy.
  • Constantly and pro-actively communicate and interact with new hires, while helping to ensure a smooth and positive on-boarding experience.
  • Assist with electronic onboarding process
  • Plan, lead and facilitate orientations for new joiners/transfers.
  • Continually develop, revise and revamp weekly and monthly orientation programs, working with the Director of HR
  • Provide timely resolution of all line manager and new hire inquiries.
  • Maintain new hire statistics and provide analytics as needed.

Recruiting:

  • Work with Managers to produce and execute ads for internal and external hires
  • Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, including relevant experience, technical skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Engage with potential candidates and top talents and link them with new opportunities within High Point
  • Manage all aspects of the recruitment process: screen resumes and video interviews, perform in-person and phone/video interviews with candidates,
  • Communicate employer information and benefits highlights during recruitment process
  • Analyze, innovate, and improve talent sourcing methods

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Associate degree preferred, further education in the field of Human Resources is helpful. 
  • 1-2 years of HR-related work experience, preferably in recruiting 
  • On-boarding or HR administration. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a desire to constantly build relationships. 
  • Extremely strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. 
  • Flexibility to adjust prioritizing workload is essential. 
  • Pro-active, decisive, self-directed, result-oriented and highly motivated 
  • Constant dedication to complete projects and follows through to the end 
  • Enthusiastic, engaging and positive interpersonal skills.
