We're looking for someone who:

  • Is known for their strong analytical rigor, ability to solve complex problems, and skill in effectively communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Stands out for their proficiency in Python or other data science programming languages (R, SQL, etc.), as well as their knowledge of the Databricks platform (an asset).
  • Demonstrates strong autonomy in project management along with the ability to handle complex data and apply predictive modeling and machine learning techniques.
  • Is recognized for their excellent communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and strong interest in artificial intelligence, particularly large language models and generative AI.
  • Has 3 to 5 years of experience in data science, including hands-on experience with key machine learning methods (regression, classification, decision trees, random forests, etc.), and holds a bachelor's degree in actuarial science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field (a master's degree is an asset).
  • Advanced level of English proficiency, as the role involves using English-based tools, preparing presentations in English, and attending training sessions conducted in English on a weekly basis.
