Job description

Duties are varied and require theoretical knowledge and/or research experience in neuroscience. 

Individuals in the Post-baccalaureate program are required to take 6 credits at any point during the program, but the credits do not need to be taken consecutively.

These are .75 FTE working in the program / .25 in academic studies. Appointments may last 1 - 2 years.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree in the specific field, or a related discipline.

Degree Equivalency Clause: Four years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree.

SB 1310: Substitution of Work Experience for Postsecondary Education Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Unless strongly justified on the basis of exceptional relevance to NIH, research education programs should be used primarily for the education of U.S. citizens and permanent residents.

Responsibilities may include: performing routine and more complex technical tasks to assist co-workers in the laboratory/research environment. Collecting and analyzing data. Preparing and performing experiments. Interacting with students and other laboratory staff under the direction of the principal investigator.
