Director of Human Resources
Location: Mountain Top, Pennsylvania (Office-based)
Salary: $130,000 - $175,000 per annum + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Director of Human Resources to join a growing organisation in a senior leadership capacity.
This role will lead the employee relations function, partnering with senior leaders and HR teams to foster a positive, compliant and high-performing workplace culture. You'll play a key role in developing people strategies, leading complex employee relations matters and supporting organisational growth.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering the organisation's employee relations strategy.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on complex HR and employee relations matters.
- Leading workplace investigations, disciplinary processes and grievance cases.
- Providing expert guidance on performance management and conflict resolution.
- Partnering with HR and legal teams to ensure compliance with employment legislation.
- Analysing employee relations data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Delivering training to managers on employee relations, investigations and performance management.
- Supporting organisational change and communication initiatives.
- Driving initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, inclusion and workplace culture.
- Ensuring consistent application of HR policies and procedures across the business.
About You
To be successful, you'll have:
- 10+ years' HR experience with significant expertise in employee relations.
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior HR leadership role.
- Extensive experience managing complex employee relations cases and workplace investigations.
- Strong knowledge of US employment law and HR compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build trusted relationships.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- High levels of professionalism, discretion and emotional intelligence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Master's degree desirable.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR or equivalent HR certification preferred.
