About the Role

BioLegacy Research is seeking a highly organized and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support day-to-day HR operations and recruiting activities. This role will work closely with the Human Resources Business Partner and hiring managers to coordinate recruiting efforts, onboarding, employee records management, compliance activities, and various HR administrative functions.

The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is passionate about providing excellent support to employees and managers.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Support

Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and hiring managers

Manage candidate communications throughout the hiring process

Post job openings and maintain job advertisements across recruiting platforms

Coordinate with staffing agencies and recruiting vendors

Track recruiting metrics and hiring progress

Assist with candidate screening and resume review

Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation

Conduct reference checks and background screening coordination

Onboarding & Employee Experience

Coordinate new hire onboarding activities

Prepare new hire paperwork and employee files

Conduct new employee orientations

Assist employees with HR-related questions and requests

Support employee engagement initiatives and company events

Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy

HR Operations & Compliance

Maintain personnel files and HR documentation

Assist with I-9 verification, E-Verify, and employment eligibility processes

Support benefits administration and employee enrollment activities

Assist with leave of absence tracking and documentation

Support performance review and merit increase administration

Monitor completion of required trainings and compliance requirements

Assist with policy administration and employee communications

Ensure HR records are maintained in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations

Administrative Support

Prepare HR reports and spreadsheets

Assist with payroll and timekeeping administration as needed

Track employee certifications, licenses, and training requirements

Support special HR projects and process improvement initiatives

Maintain confidentiality of employee information at all times

Qualifications

Required

Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Administrative Support, or related roles

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook

Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion

Preferred

Experience supporting recruiting and onboarding processes

Experience working with HRIS or payroll systems

Experience coordinating with staffing agencies or external vendors

Experience in biotechnology, healthcare, research, laboratory, or professional services environments

Bilingual English/Mandarin is a plus

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods

Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Ability to move throughout office and laboratory environments as needed

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $25.00–$35.00 per hour

Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
