Job Description

As an HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for delivering efficient, scalable HR operations that support the employee lifecycle. You will partner across HR, Payroll, IT, Legal, and business teams to improve processes, optimize HR technology, and leverage AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and the employee experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving operational challenges, driving continuous improvement, and leading cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant service delivery.

  • Drive process standardization and maintain global SOPs while identifying opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve HR operations.

  • Optimize HR technology (Workday, Freshservice, and related systems) and leverage AI-powered capabilities to streamline workflows, improve self-service, and enhance the employee experience.

  • Identify opportunities to incorporate AI and automation into HR processes to improve productivity, reduce manual effort, and deliver data-driven insights.

  • Establish and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics to measure performance and drive continuous improvement.

  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate employee data and maintain high standards of HR data integrity.

  • Support compliance through regular audits and adherence to company policies and regional employment regulations.

  • Lead or contribute to HR technology, AI, automation, and transformation initiatives, serving as an HR Operations subject matter expert.

  • Build strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, IT, Legal, and business leaders to deliver scalable HR solutions.

  • Support onboarding, benefits administration, and other key employee lifecycle programs as needed.

Qualifications
  • 8 + years of HR Operations or Shared Services experience, preferably in a fast-paced global technology company.

  • Experience with HRIS platforms (Workday preferred), HR case management systems (Freshservice or similar), and HR technology solutions.

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled HR tools, workflow automation, or digital solutions, with the ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

  • Deep understanding of the Hire-to-Retire employee lifecycle and HR operational best practices.

  • Proven ability to drive process improvements, manage cross-functional projects, and use data and technology to improve service delivery.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a bias for action, innovation, and continuous improvement.


Additional Information

Please note: This is a hybrid role that will be based in San Mateo, CA and requires an in-office presence three days per week (Tuesday - Thursday).

This is a Full-time role with an annualized salary of $132,600 - $215,400 USD. 

Compensation is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to location, experience, job-related skills, and level.
