Job description

Eaton's Mobility Group is seeking a Human Resources Manager at the Carol Stream, IL location. This role will provide relocation assistance. The expected annual salary range for this role is $125,000 - $185,000 a year.

This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do: The Human Resources Manager for Eaton's manufacturing plant in Carol Stream, IL is responsible for leading all HR functions and initiatives for the site. Serving as a key business partner to the Plant Manager, this role provides strategic HR leadership and support for a manufacturing workforce comprised of both salaried and hourly employees across multiple functions. The Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in driving employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and a positive workplace culture while supporting business objectives.

This position offers significant visibility and collaboration with division leadership and is responsible for leading and developing an HR team while influencing leaders across the organization. Essential Functions: Champion a culture of learning, transparency, ethics, accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement that supports Eaton's values and business objectives. Serve as a trusted advisor to plant leadership, driving positive employee relations and fostering a productive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

Lead talent management processes, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee development, and organizational capability building. Partner with plant leadership to assess organizational effectiveness, implement employee engagement initiatives, and develop action plans based on employee feedback and business needs. Lead and execute compensation, rewards, recognition, and salary administration programs, ensuring alignment with Eaton guidelines and external market competitiveness.

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, labor regulations, and Eaton policies while providing guidance to leaders and employees on HR-related matters. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with Eaton standards and best practices. Own HR metrics and analytics, including tracking, reporting, and analyzing workforce data to support informed business and talent decisions.

Lead training and development initiatives, including needs assessment, learning program implementation, leadership development, and continuous learning strategies. Provide leadership, coaching, and development to HR team members and support leaders through organizational change and business transformation efforts. Ensure effective personnel administration and HR operational processes that support business objectives and employee experience.

Promote and embed a strong safety culture and continuous improvement mindset across the site. Qualifications: Basic qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution. Five (5) years human resources experience Two (2) years of HR leadership experience supporting a manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or operations environment.

Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside 50-mile radius of Carol Stream, IL. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English/Spanish Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations. In depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and other applicable labor regulations. Knowledge of employment law in the state of IL is a bonus.

Experience in employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation, training and development, and organizational development. Experience partnering with operational leaders to drive business and workforce objectives. Strong analytical skills with experience utilizing HR metrics and data to support decision-making.

Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders at varies levels of the organization. Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Experience with lean, six sigma, and/or continuous improvement.
