This position reports to:
Solutions Support Manager
In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform day-to-day HR transactions for one or several assigned service lines or countries, while also managing complex and escalated tasks. Each day, you will ensure a high-quality customer experience by committing to complete, accurate and timely completion of HR requests. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the globally set standards for HR operations and ensuring that the respective business processes adhere to the local legal and regulatory requirements.
The work model for the role is hybrid (#LI-Hybrid) out of our Cary, NC corporate office.
This role is contributing to the HR Operations in Employee Life Cycle. Main stakeholders are ABB Employees, Managers, HRBPs, Leadership teams, etc.
You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Executing and delivering HR services in compliance with agreed business processes, KPIs and quality targets in a timely, accurate and customer focused manner, showing an end-to-end responsibility.
  • Acting as an expert in complex business cases/projects by offering operations expertise and knowledge and driving collaboration across US/PR HR functions. Provide expertise/support in Technical Digital Data Management and with Immigration team for administrative work (as needed). Provides on-demand reports for data related to business processes where required.
  • Accountable for the end-to-end operations, delivering high-quality results delivering globally agreed performance standards.
  • Acts as point of contact for inquiries regarding HR related topics and delivers support across one or several service line(s). Supports cross-collaboration within HR Services operations and other HR functions to optimize processes and tools and therewith promote synergies.
  • Acts as a point of contact for AskHR/Service Now and takes responsibility for the correct handling of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and escalations and therewith related process improvements.

Qualifications for the role:
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • Possesses a demonstrated track record in several HR areas with Extensive knowledge in HR Operations.
  • Highly skilled in working with HRIS tools like Workday, SAP, ServiceNow, Digital documents, etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience most HR areas. You have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in HR Operations.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of HR Policies
  • You are passionate about process improvements and innovative around HR functionalities.
  • Excellent Verbal/Written communication skills.
  • Candidates must already possess authorization to work for ABB in the US.
