As we continue to grow, we're seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and enjoys building scalable HR processes while delivering exceptional employee support.

Who You Are

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support across the entire employee lifecycle. This role partners closely with managers and employees to support recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, HR compliance, leave administration, and HR operations.

The ideal candidate is a proactive HR professional with strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for creating a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruiting activities from requisition through onboarding.
  • Prepare and post job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
  • Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and background checks.
  • Assist with employment offers, employment agreements, and new hire documentation.
  • Manage onboarding and orientation to ensure a positive employee experience.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Support workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Support employee benefit enrollment and ongoing administration.
  • Respond to employee benefit inquiries and coordinate with benefit providers.
  • Administer leave programs, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and Workers' Compensation.
  • Maintain accurate leave records and return-to-work documentation.

Performance Management

  • Coordinate the annual performance review process.
  • Track completion of employee evaluations and development plans.
  • Support managers with performance documentation and coaching resources.
  • Assist with employee development initiatives and engagement programs.

HR Compliance

  • Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with I-9 employment eligibility requirements.
  • Support HR audits and policy updates.
  • Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Track required training and compliance deadlines.

HR Operations

  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS.
  • Process employee status changes and personnel transactions.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics.
  • Maintain organizational charts and HR documentation.
  • Support payroll by communicating employee data changes.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Current U.S. HR certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
  • 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience supporting multiple HR disciplines.
  • Experience supporting recruiting, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, leave management, and HR compliance.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. employment laws and HR best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a multi-state U.S. workforce.
  • Experience supporting a growing technology company or startup.
  • Experience working with outsourced payroll and HR providers.
  • Experience developing HR processes and improving operational efficiency.
