Job Title

Job Description Required Education: High School Diploma Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field preferred but not required Required Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a Human Resources environment required Proven strong ability to use independent critical thinking and decision-making Demonstrated commitment to customer service and needs of the business Intermediate to advanced computer skills – primarily Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective organizational and time management skills Passion for your work Positions Overview: With your passion for people, you'll partner with the plant staff, including Production Supervisors, Union Stewards and Hourly employees as appropriate, to drive plant engagement and provide excellent customer service to plant personnel. We'll lean on you to leverage your attention to detail and multitasking skills. You will produce monthly plant communication items, manage referral programs and personnel files, support with training and onboarding efforts, manage community and volunteer opportunities and more. Job Responsibilities: Maintains and processes a variety of confidential records, including personnel files, employment data, etc. Hands-on partnership with the Production Supervisor and HR team to process production paperwork, track attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints Regular check-ins with employees for general engagement purposes Report on HR metrics as needed Support plant projects and events as needed with adherence to the plant's collective bargaining agreement HRIS, payroll, benefits, well-being and ethics support as needed
