Human Resources and Recruiting Coordinator

Job Overview

Flatiron Flexcare is seeking a dedicated and organized Human Resources and Recruiting Coordinator to support our growing homecare agency. This position will play an important role in recruiting and onboarding caregivers, maintaining employee records, supporting HR operations, and helping ensure compliance with applicable employment and homecare requirements.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a genuine interest in helping employees and candidates succeed. This position will support the full recruiting process while also assisting with employee orientation, training, evaluations, EVV/Sandata training, and other HR responsibilities.

ResponsibilitiesRecruiting & Talent Acquisition
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, phone screenings, interviews, reference checks, and onboarding.

  • Use email, job boards, social media, and other recruitment strategies to attract qualified caregivers and office staff.

  • Review resumes and applications and identify candidates who meet position requirements.

  • Schedule and conduct interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.

  • Represent Flatiron Flexcare at job fairs, community events, and other recruitment functions.

  • Work with management to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.

  • Monitor recruiting activity and identify opportunities to improve the hiring process.

  • Assist new employees with the onboarding process and required employment documentation.

Human Resources & Employee Support
  • Create, organize, and maintain accurate employee files and HR records.

  • Monitor department email and communication platforms and respond to HR-related inquiries.

  • Process and track employee leave requests and other personnel documentation.

  • Assist with employee orientation, evaluations, and training and development programs.

  • Coordinate EVV/Sandata training and assist employees with understanding required documentation and procedures.

  • Support positive employee relations and help address employee questions or concerns.

  • Collect and organize information for HR reports and maintain accurate data in HR systems.

  • Assist with updating the company careers page and recruitment materials.

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and applicant information.

Compliance & Homecare Operations
  • Support compliance with applicable federal and Colorado employment laws and regulations.

  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure required employee records are completed and up to date.

  • Develop an understanding of Colorado homecare agency requirements, waiver programs, caregiver requirements, and applicable wage regulations.

  • Assist with maintaining compliance related to caregiver onboarding, training, EVV, and employment documentation.

  • Stay informed about changes that may affect HR and homecare operations and communicate relevant updates to management.

Qualifications
  • Previous experience in human resources, recruiting, talent acquisition, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting and high-volume caregiver recruitment is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to conduct professional phone screenings and interviews.

  • Ability to maintain confidential employee and applicant information.

  • Comfortable using email, job boards, social media, and other recruitment platforms.

  • Familiarity with HR systems and EVV platforms such as Sandata or similar systems.

  • Knowledge of Colorado homecare agency regulations, waiver programs, and caregiver requirements preferred.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements preferred.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with management and other team members.

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
