Position Overview:
The Data Entry Clerk / Operations Assistant is a dual-purpose role focused on:
  • Processing employee timecards and supporting payroll functions
  • Providing administrative support to the Operations Manager and facility team
  • Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Enter and process employee timecards accurately and on time.
  • Support payroll activities and ensure time-sensitive deadlines are met.
  • Assist employees with payroll questions, attendance concerns, and record corrections.
  • Maintain confidential employee and company information.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route them to the appropriate departments.
  • Support attendance tracking and maintain employee records.
  • Provide general administrative and office support.
  • Welcome visitors and maintain a professional, organized lobby area.
  • Assist with planning company meetings, events, and employee activities.
  • Support the Operations Manager and leadership team with daily administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Previous payroll experience, including timecard entry and job cost allocation
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (required)
  • Strong data entry and 10-key skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient in:
    • Microsoft Word
    • Microsoft Excel
    • Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Dependable with strong attendance and reliability
  • Ability to learn and apply company attendance policies and procedures
Preferred:
  • Experience in Human Resources or Payroll Administration.
  • Experience with AS400 systems.
  • Previous administrative or office support experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Schedule:
  • Monday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Thursday & Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Additional hours may be required based on business needs.
Pay Rate:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
