HUMINT specialists must possess strong communication, observation, and analytical skills. Their work is crucial for identifying threats, preventing crimes, and shaping strategic policies.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the human intelligence position, and why are they important?

To excel in Human Intelligence roles, candidates typically need a background in intelligence analysis, interpersonal communication, cultural awareness, and sometimes a security clearance. Familiarity with data collection tools, secure databases, and specialized intelligence systems like HUMINT Collection Management is often required. Job description

Imagery Intelligence Analysis SME

The Opportunity:

With cloud-based tools, faster GPUs, and the explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. A skilled geospatial and remote sensing analyst can turn that data into mission critical information. If that sounds like you, we have an opportunity for you!

As a geospatial and remote sensing analyst at Booz Allen, you'll work with a team of analysts to extract meaning and context from a variety of data sources. Using resources like SOCET GXP and iSpy, you'll develop new ways to find patterns and connections to answer our Army's needs.

On our team, you'll also use your skills to leverage satellite and airborne remote sensing solutions, and analyze data to assess meaning and potential intent. You'll analyze and provide geospatial solutions for priorities like infrastructure, topography, human geography, and intelligence. Your geospatial skills will come in handy as you produce formal reports to make sure decision-makers have the timely information they need.

Work with us as we turn data into knowledge to support our warfighters and protect our national security.

Join us. The world can't wait.

You Have:

  • Experience in the application of space-based GEOINT
  • Experience with photogrammetric principles and techniques
  • Experience conducting Foundational Military Intelligence analysis and baseline reporting

  • Experience with analytic modeling
  • Knowledge of the full spectrum of U.S. Government and commercial satellite capabilities, including tasking and collection processes and protocols
  • Knowledge of GEOINT Army, National System for GEOINT (NSG), or Intelligence Community (IC) policies
  • Knowledge of GEOINT software, including RemoteView, SOCET GXP, or ArcGIS
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor's degree in a Remote Sensing, Cartography, or Geography field and 15+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, Master's degree in a Remote Sensing, Cartography, or Geography field and 10+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, or Doctorate degree in a Remote Sensing, Cartography, or Geography field and 5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with commercial visualization software
  • Experience with non-traditional GEOINT data sources
  • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of tools
  • Experience with data analytics and COTS statistical software such as SPSS, SAS, or MATLAB
  • Ability to collaborate with partners across the IC and DoD on technical or substantive topics
  • Ability to present intelligence information via multimedia presentations and written reports
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • GPC-II Imagery Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
