Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd. is an established post tension and rebar manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our nine facilities in the US.

Suncoast is looking for an experienced HR Coordinator based out of our Corporate Office in Houston, TX

The HR Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the day-to-day operations of the employee life-cycle processes within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This position will provide guidance to employees regarding general questions and support the Human Resources Business Partners. 

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support the day-to-day HR operations of the BU in partnership with the HRBP
  • First point of contact for employees regarding HR Administration for system and process related inquiries
  • Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of employee files and HRIS data
  • Perform weekly and monthly audits of electronic files, I-9’s, and HRIS data, identifying corrective actions from audit findings
  • Enter and check Payroll Changes in GW and ADP
  • Track and process separation agreements, vacation payouts, etc.
  • Process and maintain personnel and organizational actions and functions in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
  • Update employee files and existing data to document personnel actions and verify accuracy for payroll and other uses
  • Compile and retrieve data from personnel records to prepare various reports
  • Census & Benefits Entitled 
  • HSEQ Monthly Manhours 
  • Standard Hourly Rates 
  • SFE Form Audit 
  • Contact for general HR inquiries, escalate complex matters to HR Business Partner
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees
  • Assist with coordinating training and development for employees
  • Help create and facilitate BU Newsletter on a monthly or quarterly basis 
  • Prepare offer letters and documentation for employee functional changes and terminations
  • Tracking promotions or changes on spreadsheets  
  • Support coordination of Mentorship Program nominees
  • Assist HR Business Partner with various projects and HRIS initiatives
  • Perform general clerical duties and others as assigned
Qualifications
  • Spanish bilingual required
  • Associate degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of office experience required OR High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and 4 years of office experience required
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience required
  • Strong organization, communication, customer service and decision-making skills
  • Proven high-level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to process high volumes of information and documentation with accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information, expert in human resource information system (HRIS), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and other computer applications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams and Visio
Additional Information

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 / yr 

  

Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
