Job description

Join Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics as an Ergonomist and become part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to enhancing workplace safety and ergonomics across various industries. Our mission is to help organizations identify and mitigate work-related risks that impact employee health, productivity, and overall quality.

As an Ergonomist, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with clients to develop tailored solutions that address their unique ergonomic challenges. Your responsibilities will span assessing ergonomic risks, conducting detailed analyses, and recommending actionable improvements.

The successful candidate for this role will join a growing team of Health, Safety & Engineering professionals helping our customers reduce their work-related risk to quality, productivity and employee health.

Requirements

  • Hold a B.S. or M.S. in Kinesiology, Industrial Engineering, Human Factors, Occupational Biomechanics, Ergonomics, or a related discipline.
  • Possess 1-2 years of experience in industrial ergonomics.
  • Experience in automotive or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience or certification in ergonomic assessment tools (e.g., NIOSH equations, RULA, REBA, Digital Human Modeling) is preferred.
  • Display strong communication skills, including experience creating reports and delivering presentations to client contacts.
  • Be willing to travel for occasional local site visits and regular travel between client facilities.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
