• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate emotional and behavioral challenges faced by clients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique circumstances and goals.
• Provide one-on-one, family, and group therapy, adapting your approach to meet varying needs and dynamics.
• Engage in crisis intervention to support clients during moments of acute distress, effectively assessing risk factors and mobilizing resources.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to track client progress and treatment efficacy.
• Regularly participate in team meetings and case reviews, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance holistic patient care.
• Facilitate workshops and support groups aimed at preventing substance abuse and promoting healthy family relationships.

You will primarily work with a diverse population of clients, including individuals, couples, and families facing challenges related to substance use and mental health. Your role is to empower clients through targeted interventions, equipping them with coping strategies and support systems that nurture their mental well-being and foster healthier relationships.

• Education: A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• License: An active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential is essential for this role.
• You should possess at least 2 years of clinical experience in marriage and family therapy, demonstrating a robust understanding of therapeutic practices.
• Strong clinical skills in psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, and evidence-based counseling approaches are vital.
• In-depth knowledge of human development and family systems theory is crucial for understanding the dynamics of client relationships.

• Preference will be given to candidates with specialized training in substance abuse counseling and interventions for co-occurring disorders.
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital therapeutic tools is a plus, as these will be integral to client engagement.
