The Department of Psychiatry is recruiting for a .20 FTE position as the Director of Faculty Development.
Function/Duties of PositionThe Director of Faculty Development will develop and support the Department of Psychiatry faculty at all stages of professional development (from onboarding new faculty to integrating emeritus faculty) such that all psychiatry faculty see OHSU as an academic home where they can thrive.
Specific Duties:
Additional Responsibilities and Expected Program Development:
The Director for Faculty Development will:
- Associate or Full Professor in the Department of Psychiatry.
- Must be certified by their affiliated specialty organization and meet the requirements of maintenance of certification (if applicable).
- Leadership experience and demonstrated effectiveness in program development and mentoring are required.
- The ideal candidate would be an excellent communicator, collaborator, and problem-solve
