About Our Client

Our client is a technology company developing next-generation intelligent systems at the intersection of AI, XR, robotics, autonomy, and spatial computing. Their products support mission-critical applications across defense, public safety, and critical infrastructure. They are seeking passionate professionals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy building impactful products from concept to deployment.

The Role

As a UX/UI Designer, you will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to design intuitive, visually engaging, and user-friendly experiences across web, mobile, and immersive applications. You will play a key role in shaping the user experience from concept to implementation while ensuring consistency with the design system and brand.

Key Responsibilities

•        Design intuitive user experiences and modern user interfaces for web, desktop, and mobile applications.

•        Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity designs.

•        Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve product experiences.

•        Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

•        Develop and maintain design systems, UI components, and style guides.

•        Translate complex technical workflows into simple, user-friendly interfaces.

•        Ensure designs meet accessibility, usability, and responsive design best practices.

•        Iterate on designs based on user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder input.

•        Present design concepts and rationale to internal teams and leadership.

Qualifications

•        Bachelor's degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

•        3+ years of professional UX/UI design experience.

•        Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design processes and polished UI work.

•        Proficiency with Figma and other modern design and prototyping tools.

•        Solid understanding of interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and usability principles.

•        Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

•        Excellent communication and presentation skills.

•        Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Nice to Have

•        Experience designing for Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), or Mixed Reality (MR) applications.

•        Experience with 3D interfaces, spatial computing, or immersive user experiences.

•        Familiarity with Unity, Unreal Engine, or other immersive development platforms.

•        Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and front-end development workflows.

•        Experience working with AI-driven products or emerging technologies.

Other Requirements

•        Must be a US Citizen or valid Green Card holder.

•        Must be comfortable working on-site.

•        Must be within commuting distance of Santa Monica, CA.
