Job description

Saint Paul Catholic School is seeking a full-time Enrichment / Remediation Teacher to support students in Kindergarten through 8th grade in small group instruction. This position plays an important role in helping students grow academically while supporting the mission of Catholic education.

The Enrichment / Resource Teacher works with students who need additional academic support. The ideal candidate enjoys working with a variety of learners and is committed to helping each child develop their God-given gifts in a supportive, faith-filled environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing enrichment opportunities that extend classroom learning for students in grades K-8. This instruction may take place in both in-class and pul-out models.
  • Supporting students who need additional academic assistance in core subject areas
  • Working with small groups and individual students to reinforce academic skills
  • Collaborating with classroom teachers to support student learning and progress
  • Implementing a variety of assessment instruments such as NWEA, ESGI, DIBELS, or running records to determine appropriate instructional planning
  • Monitoring student growth and communicating with teachers and school leadership
  • Supporting the Catholic mission of the school and helping foster a positive school culture

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (teaching license preferred)
  • Experience working with elementary or middle school students
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and support a range of learning needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Support for the mission and values of Catholic education
