Job description

Job Title- HubSpot Integration Lead

Project Location – Remote

Duration- 6+ months contract

 MUST have excellent communication skills – This Director does not do well with thick accents, this is important

Manager has not found the right candidate. They are falling short on HubSpot expertise, communication, and/or leadership skills

Someone who is passionate about HubSpot, knows it inside out and has a good personality. They also need to be a go getter – not wait for direction but take the lead and come up with ideas and solutions/

  • Must have knowledge and experience with integrations for HubSpot
  • We've used offshore developers to code in the past, need to bring it in-house
  • JavaSCript required for HubSpot coding
  • Expanding our integrations with Dynamics CRM
  • HubSpot is becoming our CMS as well.
  • Be very proactive with projects. Don't wait until you've been given an assignment to get going. Look ahead - what will we need to do in the future. Current developer is good technically but is passive about taking on new work.
  • We expect onboarding to take 30 days.
  • Duration: at least 12 months, with possibility of extension
  • This person reports into tech and will be 100% focused on tech, but may do some coding for marketing

 Client is seeking a HubSpot Integration Developer Lead to design, develop, and optimize integrations, applications, and website customizations within the HubSpot platform. This role combines hands-on development expertise with a proactive, consultative approach — working directly with product and technology leaders to scope solutions, recommend approaches, and ensure HubSpot supports MASA’s business objectives. The Lead Developer takes ownership of identifying needs, proposing technical solutions, and executing development work.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Solution Scoping: Partner with Sr. Director of Technical Product Management and Director of Technology Implementation to translate business requirements into development plans, advising on feasibility, risks, and recommended approaches.
  • Custom Development: Design and build HubSpot templates (landing pages, emails, forms, web pages) optimized for lead generation and conversion.
  • API Integration: Develop integrations between HubSpot and external applications using HubSpot APIs to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Workflow Automation: Build and refine automation workflows leveraging conditional logic, triggers, and HubSpot’s workflow tools.
  • CRM Customization: Configure custom fields, views, and reports to tailor HubSpot CRM to specific business needs.
  • Front-End Development: Create responsive, user-friendly front-end components within the HubSpot CMS framework using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and improve HubSpot-hosted performance through clean coding, optimization, and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Actively engage with marketers, designers, and sales stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve HubSpot-related technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with HubSpot platform updates and bring forward new ideas for enhancing MASA’s use of HubSpot.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE

  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • HubSpot Expertise: Strong working knowledge of HubSpot APIs, CMS, CRM, Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, and Service Hub.
  • API Development: Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and best practices for integration.
  • Front-End Development: Experience with responsive design and modern web standards.
  • Database Knowledge: Familiarity with database concepts and SQL queries.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze issues and propose practical, scalable solutions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Comfortable engaging directly with senior leaders to define requirements and present solution options.
