Title: Oracle APEX Developer / Programmer Analyst 3 

Location: Richmond, VA

Job Description:

  • Seeking Oracle and APEX developer to modernize financial system. Professional experience working with Web based applications using Oracle as a backend is required. In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, Javascript/Jquery required.
  • Professional experience working with Web based applications using Oracle as the backend is required. In-depth knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c/18c Database, SQL, PL/SQL programming and Javascript or Jquery required. Experience in APEX and HTML is required. Strong background and work experience in developing true web applications are necessary.
  • Knowledge in software development and installation, change management, Git CI/CD pipeline and testing. Strong designing, development, and troubleshooting skills required. Good oral and written communication skills are required. Ability to work on multiple projects/issues simultaneously. Must have the ability to assess the impact of software upgrades and other environment changes.
  • Eight or more years of work experience is required in Oracle 11g/12c/18c Database, SQL, PL/SQL programming. Experience in conducting feasibility studies; analyzing new requirements; preparing functional and system specifications for application programmers; developing data models and system designs; developing complex program codes; testing application and evaluating results for accuracy, timelines and integrative features; preparing documentation; implementing and supporting data processing systems is required.

Required/Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with Web based applications using Oracle as the backend is required
  • Strong working experience with Oracle 11g/18c/19c database
  • Advance proficiency and Strong sql and pl/sql development experience including debugging
  • Development experience with Oracle APEX and using APEX UI customization and features for the rapid development and deliverables
  • Experience with SQL performance tuning, defining Entity relationship diagrams
  • Experience with Javascript/Jquery and HTML
