This position is currently eligible to work in a hybrid work environment with both onsite and remote work. Residency within the Kansas City-Overland Park-Kansas City, MO-KS Combined Statistical Area, which generally includes the Kansas counties of Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Miami, and Linn, and the Missouri counties of Jackson, Clay, Platte, Cass, and Ray, is required.
Job DescriptionJohnson County Government is seeking a Developer I to join our JIMS development team. This entry-level role is ideal for a developer early in their career who is eager to learn and grow while supporting justice-related systems. Under the guidance of senior developers, you will assist with maintaining legacy systems and developing enhancements that support our Justice partners. The role focuses on Microsoft-based technologies, browser-based applications, and foundational integration work across multiple platforms and databases. This position will remain open until filled.
