DEPARTMENT: Student Life

SUMMARY/SCOPE:
The role of Counseling services student worker will serve in anadministrative capacity for the office of counseling services. They will helpwith day to day tasks, Counseling services, marketing, event development andset up and administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Learn office procedures and be able to operate daily functions of the office, including but not limited to scheduling of appointments, creating program materials and advertisement, help with event preparations/office needs and answer phones/questions.
Check mail daily.
Check in with University Counselor daily and offer assistance.
Provide support with emails.
Provide support to Counseling services office in their programming.
Provide support with for promotion of events and various things happening across campus.
Supply & material pick up for events and aiding in hosting of events.
Provide support in budget management, credit card reservations and other monetary tasks.
Be aware of advertisement boards and make sure they stay up to date.
Understand and work within guidelines of confidentiality.
Other tasks assigned to help the success of the Counseling services Office.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Current HSU Student
Bachelor's Degree
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Predominantly desk work, running errands and other tasks assigned.
