Our purpose - Opening up a world of opportunity - explains why we exist. Here at HSBC we use our unique expertise, capabilities, breadth and perspectives to open up new kinds of opportunity for our more than 40 million customers. We're bringing together the people, ideas and capital that nurture progress and growth, helping to create a better world - for our customers, our people, our investors, our communities and the planet we all share.
As our Global Career Band 3 (GCB 3), Director, Sales Team Lead, Healthcare within Global Payments Solutions (GPS) you'll oversee HSBC's GPS Sales coverage for the Healthcare sector. The role is accountable for shaping and delivering your team's revenue ambitions through an effective calling plan and disciplined execution. • Manage large and complex sales across multiple products and services from pipeline to close within agreed timescales
  • Partner with virtual teams across Product, Implementation, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Pricing to deliver coordinated client outcomes and governance

What we're looking for:

  • Apply corporate sales and relationship management experience to identify needs and build solutions across a broad product set
  • Use corporate payment card knowledge to support discussions and solution design where relevant
  • Interpret economic, cultural, procedural and regulatory factors affecting customers in local and international financial services
  • Evaluate customer requirements and translate them into commercially viable and sustainable solutions
  • Use influencing and objection-handling skills to progress deals towards closure while protecting long-term relationships
  • Communicate complex information clearly to varied audiences in both written and verbal formats
  • Identify risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate and manage them in partnership with stakeholders

Building healthcare growth in GPS
This role puts you at the centre of how HSBC supports healthcare clients with payments and cash management solutions across borders. You'll set directions for sector coverage while coordinating closely with relationship teams and specialist partners across the bank. If you're looking to own a meaningful portfolio where execution, governance and customer outcomes all matter this is the opportunity to make it happen. Apply to help shape how GPS delivers for healthcare customers globally.
As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow.
