Description



Provides effective consulting, advice, and coaching by performing Human Resources Operations-related duties at the professional level. This role will both support and lead multiple responsibilities in functional areas such as (but not limited to): Benefits, Leave Administration, ADA Accommodations, Workers Compensation, HRIS management, HR Ticket System management, Employee File Maintenance, HR policy development and employee communications, job description development and maintenance, compensation analysis, employee survey and recognition, performance management, vendor liaison, etc.  This role will collaborate with other HR Team members to provide departmental coverage and support as needed.  This role will also serve as a primary departmental liaison to payroll partners. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 


HR Operations:  

  1. Plans, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs; 
  2. Partners with employees and leaders to lead and facilitate the leave of absence, ADA accommodation, Workers Compensation processes, ensuring they are executed in a professional manner, according to each of the corresponding regulatory guidelines.  
  3. Supports administration of the Company's benefits plans in conjunction with Sr. Director of HR and internal payroll partners; 
  4. Manages HR Ticketing System, assigning tickets to the appropriate individual, monitoring SLA, and identifying trends to proactively address; 
  5. Facilitates and/or provides human resources-related training (including onboarding) to leadership and the workforce;  
  6. Facilitates employee recognition and engagement programs, as well as employee surveys; 
  7. Oversee the analysis, maintenance, and communication of all employee records required by law or local governing bodies, regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies; 
  8. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends; 
  9. Assists in ongoing compensation analysis and wage reviews;  
  10. Prepares HR documentation needed for internal and external audits;  
  11. Supports the body of work around reorganizations, reclassifications, job description reviews; 
  12. Completes various projects (staffing and turnover trends, benefit analysis, etc.) by clarifying project objectives, setting timelines and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information, and fulfilling the assignment. 
  13. Maintains and leverages the HRIS system features for HR transaction events, such as onboarding, offboarding, leaves, transfers, promotions, benefits enrollment, or performance reviews

  1. Provides advice and suggestions to facilitate change and help define our culture; 
  2. Champions the organizational culture of compassionate care and inclusion; 
  3. Partners with management and staff to resolve conflicts, support positive employee relations, maintain a productive work environment, build morale, and reduce unwanted turnover. 


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS: 

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or 
  • HS Diploma and 5+ years of proven experience in HR working as a People Partner, HR Manager, HRBP or similar role (required)

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS: 

  • S/PHR or SHRM-SCP/CP Certification and the ability/commitment to keep active
