HRBP - Manufacturing - Danbury

A growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with site leadership in driving talent strategy, employee engagement, and organizational performance. This is a highly visible, hands-on role supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment and helping shape a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with operational goals.
  • Support talent management, workforce planning, succession planning, and performance management initiatives.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and temporary employees.
  • Advise managers on employee relations, coaching, performance issues, and policy interpretation.
  • Conduct employee investigations and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
  • Collaborate on compensation, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to support business decisions.
  • Identify training and leadership development needs and help implement development programs.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of HR generalist or HR business partner experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in HR or a related field. 
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, performance management, compensation, workforce planning, and employment law.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%.
