Job description

Key Features:

  • Level of Effort (FTE): 0.5 FTE
  • Clearance Required: U.S. citizenship and active Top-Secret clearance, with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Program Access eligibility, is required

Description:

Candidates sought to provide technical program management and execution support. The successful candidate will support the DARPA program manager by building program documents, integrating technical information and  managing/coordinating schedule and milestone activities. This includes overseeing contract execution, coordinating and collaborating with Government mission partners, providing feedback to multiple technical teams, and communicating status/results by preparing and delivering program briefings.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of relevant operational and program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and similar tools
  • Strong communication skills - both written (including PowerPoint) and oral
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multi-task and respond to urgent requests
  • Work on-site at DARPA HQ (Arlington, VA) daily
  • Travel to support program up to 15% duty factor

Preferred Capabilities:

  • Mission focus with enthusiasm for daily work
  • Clear, concise, direct communication
  • Experience as a Scientific and Engineering Technical Advisor (SETA) supporting DARPA and/or U.S. Space Force
  • Experience with Special Access acquisitions community
  • Background experience with military leadership
  • Understanding of optical and/or laser systems
  • Experience managing large dispersed teams, managing schedule, and tracking forecasted budgets

Hourly range for the position is $70-$120/hr. Specific compensation will be determined by several factors including experience, education, skills, and knowledge.
