Advertising/Posting Title CAS Admin Coordinator, School of World Languages & Cultures Posting Summary
The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at the University of Vermont is seeking a detail-oriented and personable Administrative Coordinator to join our team, with a primary focus supporting the School of World Languages & Cultures.
In this role, you'll perform routine to moderately complex administrative functions in support of College Administrative Services, Departments, and Programs - including budgets and financial transactions, event coordination, faculty support, personnel assistance, and general office administration. You'll provide support across multiple College, Department, and Program areas, with your main focus on World Languages & Cultures and flexibility to assist other areas as needed.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Associate degree in related area and three years of experience to include coursework in accounting or business required. 
  • Working knowledge of software applications used to support area of operations. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, (especially Excel and Word) required. 
  • Effective analytical, problem solving, organizational, communication, interpersonal, and team-collaboration skills required. 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy required. 
  • Demonstrated experience and commitment to overall customer service.
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with PeopleSoft desirable.
Anticipated Pay Range $27 - $27.65/hr based on experience Other Information
