Job description

Job Title: Cleanroom Technician (Entry Level)
Job Description

This entry-level Cleanroom Technician role focuses on operating molding, assembly, and packaging equipment in a cleanroom environment to support production for medical-related products. You will follow detailed product and customer specifications, maintain accurate documentation, and uphold strict quality and cleanliness standards while working a rotating 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

  • Operate molding, assembly, or packaging equipment in accordance with product specifications and standard work procedures.
  • Package and label products precisely according to customer specifications.
  • Perform thorough visual inspections to identify gross defects and verify that products meet customer requirements.
  • Report all identified visual defects promptly to the Cell Leader or designated supervisor.
  • Enter daily production and scrap data accurately into the BMS system.
  • Complete all required production and workstation documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Move products to designated areas in work-in-progress (WIP) and airlocks as directed.
  • Order components from the warehouse using SAP and scan WIP components with an RF gun to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Supply assembly machines consistently with required components to support uninterrupted production.
  • Complete LRPs, including opening and closing lots, and ensure all associated paperwork is accurate and free of errors.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and uphold 5S standards on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Support and maintain Lean initiatives and actively participate in Lean projects to improve efficiency.
  • Provide suggestions and take an active role in process improvements to eliminate non-value-added activities.
  • Support and adhere to company policies, including ISO standards, Health and Safety requirements, Continuous Improvement, GMP, and standard work procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and operational goals.
Essential Skills
  • Willingness to wear GMP-compliant attire while working in a cleanroom environment.
  • Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating night shift (6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.).
  • Ability to stand and remain on your feet for the full 12-hour shift.
  • Capability to work safely and effectively around molding, assembly, and packaging equipment.
  • Attention to detail to perform accurate visual inspections and maintain error-free documentation.
  • Basic computer literacy to enter production and scrap data into systems such as BMS.
  • Ability to follow written procedures, standard work instructions, and GMP requirements.
  • Strong commitment to cleanliness, organization, and adherence to 5S and Lean principles.

  • Previous experience operating production or manufacturing equipment.

The facility operates under GMP, ISO, Health and Safety, and Continuous Improvement requirements, with a strong focus on Lean and 5S practices. You must wear GMP-compliant attire and maintain strict cleanliness and organization while working on your feet for extended periods in a controlled, production-oriented environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
