FanGate Solutions is a customer service driven company here to provide live entertainment and sports venues with a professional team of trained event day staff. Our philosophy is to treat our client's fans like our own with a knowledgeable, reliable, and fan friendly team. We are looking for eager, highly motivated, and friendly individuals aspiring to work in the sports and entertainment industry.
Event Overview:
You will be working as ticketing box office operations intern in Calistoga, CA during a Sprint Car Race at Calistoga Speedway, September 5th & 6th. As an Intern at FanGate Solutions, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in ticket sales, ticket operations, and customer service. Your role will be troubleshooting ticketing issues at the entry of the facility, making sure premium seating guests have appropriate credentials for their area and assisting the owners of FanGate with managing the ticketing procedures and ticketing platform within the box office. Once your shift is complete, you are allowed general admission into the venue.
Responsibilities:
  • Aid guests with accurate event information
  • Provide problem solving techniques to assist all customer inquiries and concerns
  • Accurately scan and validate all parking passes and event tickets
  • Fulfill Will Call ticket orders accurately and efficiently
  • Sell Walk Up race tickets and parking passes to attendees
  • Represent FanGate Solutions and its clients in a professional and ethical manner
  • Punctual and self-motivated with an attention to detail
  • Provide & maintain the highest level of customer service to clients and guests
  • Perform other duties & responsibilities as assigned by managers

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Ability to work untraditional hours including weekends, evenings and some holidays
  • College student majoring in hospitality, marketing, sport management, communications or related fields is a plus
  • Eager to start & build a career in sports and live entertainment
  • Ability to deliver exceptional service by anticipating the guests' needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills that complement a team-oriented work ethic
  • Ticket sales experience is a plus
  • Must be neat and presentable at all times
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with at least a high school diploma or GED

Pay and Schedule:
Pay is $16.90/hr.
Saturday, September 5th: 1pm - 9pm
Sunday, September 6th: 1pm - 9pm
