Be the Connection Between Patients and Care!

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a customer-focused Service Center Representative to serve as a key connection between patients and their healthcare team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service by answering patient calls, coordinating appointments, supporting care access, and ensuring every patient interaction is handled with compassion and professionalism.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for patients by phone.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments.
  • Answer questions, route calls appropriately, and relay messages to clinical staff.
  • Verify patient registration and insurance information.
  • Assist patients with MyChart and other patient portal support.
  • Support referrals, authorizations, and patient outreach activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
  • Partner with providers and office teams to create a seamless patient experience.

General Requirements:

  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. Course work in insurance/billing, medical practice education or seminars are all preferred.
  • CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: None
  • MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a combination of patient services, medical reception, call/customer service center (medical environment) or other customer service environment.
