Human Resource Administrative Assistant
The Human Resource Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department while gaining practical HR experience in a professional business environment. This position assists with a variety of HR functions including maintaining employee records, supporting onboarding activities, HRIS data entry, compliance audits, document management, and general administrative tasks.
• Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
• Maintain accurate employee personnel files, HR documentation, and electronic records.
• Organize and maintain personnel files to ensure audit readiness.
• Assist with filing, scanning, and documentation retention.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information and company records.
• Answer and direct HR-related inquiries appropriately.
• Assist with preparation of employment letters, forms, and HR correspondence.
• Perform data entry with high level of accuracy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred or
• Currently enrolled in High School.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications
• Represents the department with integrity, professionalism and a positive attitude while demonstrating sound judgement and ethical behavior.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
• Produces accurate work, identifies errors and maintains organized records with minimal oversight.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
• Flexible work schedule based on business needs and academic commitments.

• Must be able to walk the shop floor up to sixty minutes per day.
• Occasional lifting of files or office supplies up to 20 pounds.
• Manual dexterity is sufficient to reach/handle items, works with the fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials.
• Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting with adequate ventilation.
• Exposed to outdoor elements, loud noises and moving machinery and uneven terrain.
