Job description

At Always Best Care Senior Services - Greater West Houston, we provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals who need support with daily living activities. We take pride in delivering care that promotes personal dignity, safety, and emotional well-being.
As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are currently seeking dedicated caregivers to support active client cases in Richmond, TX (77406).
These positions are for active care cases and offer short shifts and/or split shifts. Some cases may require caregivers with Hoyer lift experience.
Location
Greater West Houston
Current Need: Richmond, TX 77406
Shift Schedule
Sunday - Saturday:
9:00 AM - 11:00 AM & 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
Responsibilities
• Follow a care plan outlined by a supervisor to assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and companionship.
• Assist with mobility and transfers as needed; Hoyer lift assistance may be required for some cases.
• Monitor and observe the client's overall well-being and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor.
• Assist with errands or transportation as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a clean and secure environment.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements
• Prior caregiving experience preferred (senior care experience is a plus).
• Hoyer lift experience preferred.
• CNA certification is ideal but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and reference check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassion, patience, and empathy when working with elderly clients.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 miles when needed.
