Job description

Real Estate Business Development Representative

Location: Remote
Type: Full-Time | Contract

About Kyma

At Kyma, we help families find stability during some of life’s most difficult moments. When a home is damaged and families are forced to relocate, finding temporary housing can be overwhelming. Our mission is to make that process fast, clear, and seamless so families can focus on what truly matters—getting their lives back on track.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Real Estate Business Development Representative to identify available rental homes, build relationships with landlords and property managers, and support temporary housing placements for displaced families.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in real estate, corporate housing, relocation, or landlord/investor outreach. You’ll be responsible for researching available homes, contacting property owners and managers, confirming key details, negotiating terms, and helping move housing opportunities forward quickly.

This is a proactive, detail-oriented, and revenue-focused role for someone who enjoys online research, making outbound calls, solving problems, and working with urgency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source rental properties across online platforms and real estate networks
  • Contact property owners, landlords, and property managers to confirm availability, pricing, lease terms, and property details
  • Conduct high-volume outreach through phone, email, text, and online platforms
  • Negotiate rates and terms to help secure the best possible housing options
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, listings, outreach, responses, and follow-ups
  • Identify creative housing solutions for families with needs
  • Prioritize speed, accuracy, and clear communication in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, especially for outbound calls, follow-ups, and negotiation
  • English fluency
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in sales, sourcing, real estate, or high-volume outreach
  • Comfort making calls and engaging with landlords, property managers, or investors
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple opportunities at once

Preferred Backgrounds

  • Experience in real estate, relocation services, corporate housing, or furnished rentals
  • Experience calling on landlords, property owners, investors, or property managers
  • Organized and tech-savvy, with experience using spreadsheets, databases, CRMs, or lead tracking tools
  • Previous work in a fast-paced, service-driven, remote environment

What We Offer

  • 100% remote role with flexibility and autonomy
  • A values-driven team focused on real impact
  • Fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Opportunity to grow professionally in the housing, real estate, and relocation sectors
