Job description

Dietician / Nutritionist
Crotched Mountain School, a Program of Seven Hills Foundation

Annual Salary: $70,720 | Greenfield, NH

Make a Meaningful Impact with Your Career

Picture yourself driving to work through the scenic Monadnock region, surrounded by mountains and fresh air — knowing your expertise directly supports children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities to live healthier, fuller lives.

Over the past three years, Seven Hills has been revitalizing this historic program: expanding services, welcoming new students, and building a passionate team of clinicians, educators, and caregivers who make extraordinary things possible for youth with neurodevelopmental disabilities.

As a Dietitian/Nutritionist at Crotched Mountain School (CMS), you won’t just manage menus — you’ll shape outcomes.

In This Role, You Will...

  • Work directly with students with developmental disabilities to provide clinical nutritional services
  • Conduct assessments, establish treatment goals, and monitor progress
  • Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams on individualized plans
  • Develop and oversee menus aligned with medical and therapeutic needs
  • Train staff on nutrition-related best practices
  • Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

What to Expect as a Dietician/Nutritionist at CMS (The Real, Important Part)...

As a Dietician/Nutritionist at CMS you will work directly with our students, building relationships, getting to know their unique dietary needs and preferences to individually tailor their nutritional care. This role can be equal parts heartwarming, fast-paced, and “did that really just happen?” We believe in being upfront—this job will challenge you, grow you, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

You will work with youth ages 5-22, many who are non-speaking with severe neurodevelopmental disabilities, coexisting medical, and psychiatric disorders. Our campus can be quite lively with “dull moments” not being part of our vocabulary! Many students may communicate through behaviors, including aggression or attempts to leave the area, requiring an abundance of patience, understanding, and compassion.

What You Bring...

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field
  • Registered Dietitian credentials (NH licensure preferred)
  • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Comfort with electronic health records
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Comfort working in a unique environment supporting students with complex needs and behaviors

Why You’ll Love It Here...

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • 403(b) retirement plan with company match of 25-33% based on years of service
  • 3 weeks PTO (accrued), plus sick time and 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays
  • Paid orientation and training
  • Student loan assistance & paid education (tuition, certifications, licensure, etc.)
  • PSLF-eligible nonprofit employer
  • EAP, FSA/HSA, life insurance, parental leave, home mortgage program, professional development assistance, referral program, legal insurance, pet insurance, and more

If you’ve been looking for work that truly matters, you’ll find it here — in a serene mountain setting where possibility is part of the landscape.
