Job description

We are seeking a Lead Direct Support Staff to join our team!

Companion Housing Programs manages and operates 15 residential group homes within Hennepin county. We work with individuals with developmental disabilities, dual diagnosis, and mental illness.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-supervise group home and employees
  • Help residents with daily living skills and activities
  • Train and evaluate employees
  • Charting, monitoring, and organizing paperwork
  • Transporting individuals to appointments/activities

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass a MN background study/fingerprints
  • Ability to hold a valid drivers license/valid insurance
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities

Hours being offered: Lead Direct Support Staff works 40 hours per week.. Every other weekend hours are required and the hours vary based on the needs of that home. This staff member must also be on call 24/7.
